Ted graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a degree in Philosophy. He has been living year-round on Mount Desert Island since the summer of 1973. Ted developed a strong background in the local building trades as well as residential appraisal while working and living in all the four towns on Mount Desert Island.
He has made a career selling real estate full time on Mount Desert Island surrounded by Acadia National Park for nearly 30 years. Ted was the owner/broker of Maine Real Estate Exchange on Main Street in Southwest Harbor for 10 years and then joined the Swan Agency Sotheby International Realty in 1997.
Ted served his real estate colleagues as President of the Hancock Washington Board of REALTORS, President of the Hancock Washington Downeast Multiple Listing Service and was this professional group’s REALTOR of the Year.
